Love Hard Work or Be Prepared to Quit

April 8, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Love Hard Work or Be Prepared to Quit

Youíre about to read something you donít want to hear. Youíve been chasing a dream that doesnít exist ñ the lie that being an online entrepreneur means no hard work is involved ñ just sit around in your PJs and watch the cash come in.

On your journey to successful Internet marketing, youíll see many online temptations promising you overnight success ñ if youíll just purchase their product or sign up for a yearís worth of ìhelpî to get you started.

You may have fallen for a few of them in the past. Youíre not alone. After all, this self-professed ìguruî actually shows screen shots of bank statements and other ìproofî that heís actually made thousands of dollars overnight, while sleeping ñ and that much is true.

You, too, can become a millionaire within a monthís (or a few) time by following a few, simple steps contained in his super-duper program or eBook. The problem ñ where the lie comes in ñ is that itís not turnkey or effortless, or whatever other hashtag theyíre using these days.

Itís hard work! It also can be enjoyable hard work. Donít let these spammy hype-mongers fool you. It takes hard work, time and effort to become successful. And you wonít become an overnight success by purchasing anything available online.

Success takes a bit of time. It might start overnight, but itíll be a seedling, not a full grown garden of profits. So, if youíre not ready to work, go back to watching television reruns or gaming with friends.

On the other hand ñ if youíre determined to make a success of your online business, itís possible to realize more fortune than you ever thought possible. But, you have to do it the right way, by gathering knowledge and taking the time to learn all you can about your niche and whatís going to make it a success.

There are a few harsh realities about making a success of your online business venture. Thereís tough competition out there. Itís likely that no matter what your idea is ñ someone has thought of it before.

But competition is a good thing and you can compete if you know how. Competition is a sign that people are making good money out there. You have to learn some technology, too.

That doesnít mean you have to be a technological whiz, but there are certain programs and nuances you must know about ñ WordPress, hosting, FTP and dozens of other specifics which will make you a success ñ or not.

Free traffic to your site without any engagement or effort? Not an option. Youíll see lots of lures out there to bring you in to the illusion, but you should know that getting traffic to your site is a strategy that youíll need to put some thought and work in to (such as building relationships and blogging).

You have to make yourself known. People donít usually buy from a site they donít know about or which hasnít been recommended to them. To attract traffic to your site, you have to first let people get to know you. Give them a good incentive to come to your site and sign up.

The good news is that when you do make a success of your online business ñ when youíre your own boss ñ you donít need to commute or miss your childís play ever again. Most successful online entrepreneurs wouldnít have it any other way. The elbow grease they use to build their business pays off in more than just financial ways.

Motivation Is Not One Size Fits All

April 8, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Motivation Is Not One Size Fits All

Have you ever seen a link to a blog or video where you were supposed to be inspired, and instead you felt put off by the whole thing? It can be the media format, the personís voice, the speed at which they talk ñ anything ñ that doesnít make it ìclickî for you.

Think about what motivates you. Is it listening to motivational tapes or reading inspiring books ñ or perhaps itís a person in your life (teacher, parent mentor) who is your motivation?

One type of motivation doesnít necessarily fit everyone. Some people like a feel-good, kumbaya approach while others like a bootcamp feel to get inspired. And, sometimes it just takes spiraling downward to the bottom of the barrel and hitting rock bottom to make you finally get up and take action.

Not being able to pay your water or electric bill and facing a homeless existence is motivation enough for most of us to look for a job or find a way out of a menial life. If youíre having a difficult time motivating yourself to take the action you need to begin that online business or carry it to the next level, itís imperative that you find the motivation you need to get it done.

Staring at a blank screen every day and wondering what to do next is definitely not the most inspiring way to become motivated about your business. You may have been enthusiastic at the beginning stages of getting your business online, but now youíve fizzled out and every day finds you less motivated to sit at the computer and work.

If something isnít done ñ quickly ñ youíre likely to give up before youíve even begun to experience the success you were aiming for. There are some tips for you to get excited again and carry on with your dreams for future success.

First, set some small, achievable goals. You may be looking too much at the big picture of your business. That can be overwhelming and discouraging because it seems like forever until you can realize them.

Small, achievable goals such as simply writing one blog post for today can whittle down the enormity of what youíre trying to do. It also gives you a sense of accomplishment so that youíre not feeling like a loser.

No matter how bad you feel ñ take action. Taking immediate action on some of the small goals will get you to the big goals before you realize it. Most big goals take time and little actions to complete.

It may seem like a long road if you only look at the big picture, but achieving one small goal after another should boost your confidence and spur you on. Look to the future. See the glitches and successes which may occur as you build your business.

That one thing will help you with strategies necessary to make your business a success. Look at the challenges too and develop a passion for meeting them. Motivation is like anything else.

You have to work at it to make it a reality. Find out what motivates you and keep it in your thoughts at all times. Look for people who deliver the message in a way that you like.

Check out gurus, like Tony Robinson for instance, but also look for smaller, less known bloggers who might inspire you to chip away at your to do list. And try different media formats, too ñ videos, text, infographics, podcasts ñ because you never know when something might click for you and help you get past your hurdles.

Plan for Monetary Success Milestones

April 8, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Plan for Monetary Success Milestones

Are you waking up every day thinking only about the day youíre able to buy a beach house? The smart online entrepreneur plans incessantly for monetary milestones in their businesses.

They get excited about smaller income, and they donít just wait for the tsunami of cash to hit their bank account. Youíve seen those who simply slap something online, hoping to make some instant money ñ and they might make some nice spending money.

But itís short lived and when you think about the time (and possibly money) spent on the online ìmoney maker,î it may not have been worth the effort. Planning for monetary success makes much more sense and is well worth the effort.

Spend some time planning price points needed to reach your goals and then figure out how youíre going to get there, For example, outsourcing or running affiliate contests might help boost your bottom line.

Youíll want to make sure you donít overspend to get the success you want and need. For example, you can plan to sell during the holidays by planning months in advance. Gather the content you need for your big launch by purchasing PLR, outsourcing to writers or writing and editing it yourself.

If youíre unsure what to do and how to plan, look at what others have done. And, thereís a lot of online assistance, which will help you plan – and tools to help you create a timeline.

After gathering the content youíll need, itís time to seek out affiliates who may also promote your product launch. Even though youíll be sharing the profits, itís a great way to go over the top with monetary success and gain another audience and some great support.

Plan a launch date and stick to it. Thereís nothing worse than your followers looking forward to the product and having to push the date. Your affiliates will be let down and it will be difficult to get them to promote you again.

Donít forget details! Make sure the details of your promotion are planned precisely and accurately so that you donít have glitches on the launch date ñ or refunds to deal with because something isnít working correctly or isnít exactly as you promoted it to be.

Try to assess the value of the launch. What will it mean to you ñ monetarily? Consider the investment youíre making, what youíre likely to receive from affiliates who promote for you (this can be a good estimate as you get to know your affiliates and how much they can bring in for you).

Plan events to promote your product and yourself and then make it happen. Podcasts, videos and social media are all good ways to brand yourself and let your future followers know what youíre all about and what you have to offer.

Your monetary milestones can only increase if you plan ahead, pay attention to details and foster a relationship with other marketers. Celebrate the small successes and then work on building momentum so that your income soars over time.

Put Yourself on the Spot with a Firm Launch Date

April 8, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Put Yourself on the Spot with a Firm Launch Date

Have you gained a reputation as a flake with your constant delays and rescheduling? When you set a firm launch date for your product, youíll be setting yourself up to complete the preparation and meet all of the challenges involved in a successful launch.

A firm date for a launch seems to be the catalyst that pushes us through and to the completion of the challenge. Setting the date is important, and after you set the date, itís vitally imperative that you work hard to prepare for the launch.

That means generating awareness for your product, finding ways to adhere to the budget and establishing credibility so it will help increase your chances of success. Make sure your potential buyers know exactly what your product is all about.

Email messages, social media messages and blogs can all be instrumental in letting your audience know the message you want to convey about your product. If people arenít perfectly clear about what is offered, they wonít buy ñ itís as simple as that.

So make sure that you cover all bases and create compelling reasons to act when the product is launched. During the time period before the launch date, make sure you let your lists and affiliates know about your goals for the launch and establish awareness and strength for the product.

Much of your success for the launch will likely come from affiliates and JV partners, so itís vital that they know and understand what youíre up to. Donít wait until the last minute to arrange how youíre going to advertise and let people know about your product launch.

Something is bound to go wrong at the last minute and it can become very stressful if youíre up against a firm launch date. Starting early on your goals and plans can ensure that you stay on track.

Also, make sure youíve planned on how youíre going to follow up on your success after the launch. Follow ups also helps your audience know that you care about their satisfaction and boosts your knowledge about what to plan for future product launches.

Itís not easy to launch a product, but it can be exciting and financially rewarding for you, your affiliates and your customers when planned and executed properly. When you shy away from launch dates, it only puts you further back on the success ladder. Stay focused and treat every launch like itís a baby youíre creating to face the world.

Quit Seeking a Support System

April 8, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Quit Seeking a Support System

Are you someone who almost canít do a thing with your business without running to another marketer to clear it first? This isnít elementary school ñ youíre a grown entrepreneur, and you have to take full responsibility for your trials and errors ñ but you also get to claim your successes.

You have to eventually know that thereís no one out there who will support you like you. When you became a solo entrepreneur, you chose the life of taking responsibility for your own success or failure.

While itís okay to ask for help when you need it (especially when it comes to technological issues), you also have to seek help and knowledge on your own so youíll learn how to discover solutions when no oneís available.

You donít want to be known as one of those newbies who emails everyone about basic issues that are already discussed online for free. This happens routinely, and itís not fair to the marketer whose time youíre wasting, when a simple Google search for a ìhow toî video would show you clearly what steps are involved for your trouble shooting issue.

Learning about and solving problems is the best way to create knowledge that will stay with you forever. That doesnít mean you canít have a supportive mentor or a go-to person that you seek advice from, but all of the advice and coddling in the world isnít going to help you unless you help yourself.

Are you the personality type that quits and runs at the first sign of trouble? Or, perhaps you give up when youíve gone through everyone on your go-to list for help. Panic sets in and you think youíre never going to figure out a problem or make it to the next level in your business.

This is the time when you need to stop. Walk away from the problem for awhile and do something else. Many times our brains become overloaded with information and statistics and need to be rebooted to catch the signal again.

Rather than criticizing and letting negative self-talk convince you that youíre dumb or inept because you canít solve a problem, try boosting your self-esteem. There are several good ways to do that, including reading about people you admire.

It can be someone in history or someone in your family or group of friends. What do they do when they have a problem to solve? Chances are, they took action ñ by gathering knowledge they needed to find a solution or starting all over.

Validate yourself. Think of all of the positive things youíve done in the past to garner admiration from others. Youíll likely find that many people admire you and look to you for their own support.

Ask yourself what you need. What do you need at this moment to help you find a solution to your problem? It may be that your body needs energy or your brain needs a rest. Give yourself what you need to complete goals and realize ultimate success.

Most of all ñ realize that youíre not perfect. Youíll make mistakes and youíll seek help from others. Just donít forget that the buck stops with you and only you can fulfill the dreams and goals you envision for your future.

Shelve Your Overwhelm at the Volume of Required Content Creation

April 8, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Shelve Your Overwhelm at the Volume of Required Content Creation

When you look at the amount of content required ñ on a daily basis ñ for your online business, it can be overwhelming, especially if you think you have to do it all by yourself.

What often happens is newbies get skimpy. They slap up the minimum amount of content required. This fails to help you build trust and relationships with others ñ you need content ñ with personality ñ and a lot of it.

Youíll need content for all aspects of your online business ñ info products, blog posts, social networking posts, email autoresponders, opt-in reports, bonus reports, product reviews, sales copy and much more.

But, there are ways to lighten the load if youíre willing to use them. Theyíre the methods that the gurus use and they work if you do it right. Youíll be able to lighten the overwhelming amount of content necessary to grow your online business and get the most from your time, effort and money.

Plan your content meticulously. Without a content plan, youíll be frustrated and wonít get the most out of your time devoted to the content. Your plan should include an outline of all of the content youíll need for a certain time period, what you want to include in the content and a deadline for getting it out there.

Donít rush the plan. Take your time and make sure itís right. Itís better to do one thought provoking blog post each week than to slap up seven posts that are light on personality, details or value.

Writing and editing is something some marketers hate about this part of their online businesses and they outsource it to more qualified writers. Even though you plan to outsource, you should still know some writing and editing basics so that youíll know if youíre getting what you need (and your moneyís worth) from the writers.

Itís good to have a working relationship with a writer that you trust and who knows your style and is familiar with what you require. Look for someone whose portfolio or talent enables them to speak ìforî you online with minimal tweaking.

Outsourcing will certainly lighten the overwhelming amount of content needed for your business. There are freelance writers who specialize in writing online content. Just make sure you donít go for the cheapest writer or youíll end up putting more time into it than if you did it yourself. Choose one who is recommended and who has some experience.
The great go-to resource for online entrepreneurs is private label rights content and you can find PLR on just about any subject. Theyíre remarkably inexpensive and can be purchased in bundles. You can then change the writing to reflect your own subject matter or ideas ñ and put your name on it to use online.

Before you hand your content assignments over to someone else, make sure youíve thoroughly researched the subject and are very clear about what you want. You may want to offer websites or other writings for research and inspiration.

Donít be overwhelmed at the amount of content needed for your business ñ just be creative and find different ways and means to get what you want for the least amount of effort.

Start Looking Forward to Failures

April 2, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Start Looking Forward to Failures

Have you been so terrified of failing, that you feel itís preventing you from moving forward ñ or even getting started with your online efforts? For scientists and medical researchers, failure can be a good thing.

It means another vital experiment has been eliminated and they can move on to the next. Sometimes, itís just a numbers game ñ you have to have a certain amount of failed experiments before you arrive at the one thatís going to make a difference.

Itís safe to say that everyone who has become a great success have a few failures under their belts. The difference between them and those who arenít successful is that the successful learned from their failures ñ and the others simply accepted failure and gave up.

What doesnít work is in the past ñ and what does work can propel you on to future success. You may have never thought of looking at failure as a good thing, but when you fail, it means youíre working hard on your business endeavors and tweaking your system so that it will eventually run like a well-oiled machine.

And what worked for one entrepreneur may not work for another. Find your niche and develop it rather than being a copycat to others. When you give yourself permission to succeed ñ you also give yourself permission to fail.

As you try new things and ideas, not all of them will come to fruition, but now you know what works and what doesnít. Itís the only way to know for sure. And the more you try and fail, the more likely it is that youíll hit the jackpot along the way and that one of your ideas and endeavors will take off.

Some top entrepreneurs agree that if you succeed in everything you try, then youíre failing in the big picture because youíre not taking enough risks. The very nature of an entrepreneur means that risks need to be taken.

Many are sure to fall by the wayside ñ as you can see in the pop up businesses in Silicon Valley. There are huge successes there ñ but, look closely and youíll see many dreams failed and abandoned.

Those who stuck with it rose beyond the failures and are the big successes you hear about. One thing thatís imperative to remember about failure is that there are two types: Honorable and Incompetent.

Honorable failure means you attempted honestly to try a new or different way to do things and the attempt failed. Incompetent failure means you failed because you didnít put enough effort or action into the attempt at success.

When Thomas Edison tried time and again to invent electricity, he had numerous failures – but when people asked him why he had so many failures before he found a method that worked, he said that he didnít consider the experiments to be failures ñ they were simply discoveries of methods which didnít work.

Keep trying and look forward to those failures ñ theyíre what will eventually point you in the direction of success. Plus, it makes you more of an expert in marketing because youíll be able to say what works, and what doesnít.

Stop Quitting on Small Milestones

April 2, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Stop Quitting on Small Milestones

Thereís nothing worse than someone who begs to be taught how Internet marketing works, has others show them the ropes, and then quits on the implementation of those ideas.

Many new entrepreneurs come into the business looking to make huge amounts of money at first and forget about or quit planning the small goals that are going to take them to the top.

They want immediate gratification, but donít want to waste time on the small stuff that sets them up for a better and more profitable success. When youíre concentrating on future endeavors, itís easy to overlook the small ones that can set you up as a person who celebrates the small achievements.

Every goal realized is a good one to celebrate and pat yourself on the back for. Enjoy each and every moment of success thatís working to get you to the top. Celebrating small goals and milestones is a way to keep yourself motivated.

You donít have to go overboard, but designating milestones that you believe are significant enough to celebrate is a good way to keep you working toward the next ñ and onward to ultimate success as a business owner.

Donít make the milestones too far apart ñ or too close together so they seem insignificant. If you wait too long to reach a goal, you may lose interest or momentum. Try to plan on reaching small goals at intervals no longer than two weeks apart.

Make your milestones known to others. Let others celebrate your achievements with you and theyíll relate to you in ways that will make them get to know you and want to see what youíre all about and to purchase what you have to offer.

One of the major milestones to plan for is your first full year in business. Not many reach that important goal – and it deserves celebrating in a big way. New marketers will be in awe that you saw it through and encouraged by your determination.

The gurus will realize what youíve given to get here to this monumental achievement and likely give you the kudos you deserve, especially if youíre making traction with your accomplishments.

Visualize the small milestones as bricks and one placed on top of the other will eventually lead you to the ìbuildingî encompassing all your hard work and meeting goals ñ even the small ones.

Eventually, youíll be able to better plan the small and the large milestones and also have more knowledge of how to balance them. Youíll feel a greater sense of accomplishment when you reach the finish line if you recognize them along the way.

Study the Technical Skills You Need to Succeed

April 2, 2017 By Asif Nazeer Leave a Comment

Study the Technical Skills You Need to Succeed

Technical skills that are needed in online marketing, are often the one element that causes many people to turn and run away. It feels overwhelming and insurmountable. But you shouldnít feel like you have to be able to operate everything all at once ñ donít make this harder than it has to be.

Even if you have the money to outsource most of your marketing needs, itís imperative that you know a bit about whatís happening when you outsource so that youíll know if youíre getting your moneyís worth and if what you requested is actually what youíre getting.

Other things you might think you need to outsource are really very simple and only need a few minutes to learn how. There are so many ways to get the help you need to perform some of the technical skills that will make you successful.

The learning process is never over if youíre an Internet entrepreneur. There are some specific basics you need to know so youíll understand how to perform some of the online marketing techniques that are vital to your success.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) isnít difficult, but if youíre new to the fray you may be intimidated by some of the phrases such as this. Much has been written (and videos produced) about this subject. Just do a bit of research to learn everything you need to know about SEO ñ and stay on top of it, because itís always changing.

Pay Per Click Marketing is a technique thatís an important one to know about because it actually involves your money and sales. As with SEO, much is out there, both on the Internet and beyond which can help you learn this important facet of your business.

Organization of your data is crucial. There are many programs and apps available (some free) that can help you organize and retrieve information in a click or two. There are also ways to retrieve old data that may be in archives. Learn all you can about this important skill.

Website and page design can be outsourced. In the beginning you donít have to spend lots of money on a professional web site designer. Thereís a plethora of templates and basic help that will help you design a pretty good-looking site.

You simply need to understand a few basics such as color and how to design a layout using a grid template. But once you have money, make sure you hire someone to do the job for you.

Social media ins and outs are something you need to master. Believe it or not, social media sites have technical aspects you need to understand if youíre to make a success of your online business.

Most are little nuances that simply add to the social media experience. Lots of videos and tutorials exist about how to take the most advantage of social media sites such as FaceBook, Twitter and Reddit.

You donít have to be a technical wizard to understand and use the workings of the Internet, but you do need to know how to install a blog, run an ad and write and send autoresponders ñ just to name a few. Take advantage of all of the information online and youíll be good to go.
